I called it the tour of bridges and tunnels and in fact have gone over/through the Chesapeake bridge/tunnel. I was fascinated by that one. I completely lost count of how many bridges were crossed on that trip. Kind of like the moutntains on the west coast - just when you think you've crossed the last one you look ahead and see there are still more to cross.VStar Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13634216576989421497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1394161184343172403.post-48226429151077139382012-04-08T22:36:00.117-04:002012-04-08T22:36:00.117-04:00The thing about the MD beaches is, they're not...The thing about the MD beaches is, they're not really on the way between any 2 places (unless you're coming south out of PA and DE). If you're coming from the west, you have to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on RT50 (are you afraid of heights?) to get to Maryland's 'Eastern shore' on the Delmarva peninsula. It is possible to continue south along the peninsula to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel that connects Delmarva to Virginia near Norfolk.

Cheers,
BarryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1394161184343172403.post-41169000272454464942012-04-08T22:24:16.351-04:002012-04-08T22:24:16.351-04:00VS Lady:

If you go back to our blogs you will see all of our posts from that weekend. Troubadour is arranging for another IMBC for 2012 in the Hell's Canyon area of Eastern Oregon. If you can make it, you will meet some of us. So far we have: RichardM, SonjaM (&Roland), Troubadour/Trobaritz and myself. I am sure more will join in . . .

bob
Riding the Wet CoastAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.com
