I went out for a ride today ...

Actually it was yesterday I got out for a ride.  Very little time this weekend to ride and even less time to write ... but I took a few pictures.

There we were - 30 British Motor Cars and one little Japanese Motor Cycle out for a tour in the country. Hope to post some video later.

Moon Gazing and Stars Blazing

Saturday was the night for gazing at the moon.
We waited and watched as the full moon rose above the giant maple trees.
Then apparently somebody turned on the Bat Signal.
Finally, Sunday I got the Star polished up and blazing for a perfect little ride on a perfect spring day. There seems to be a bit of an issue with the front tire though. It's loosing air ... slowly but surely, so it looks like it's back to the shop for her.

And I've had a post card from Randy ...

Still Raining ... But Who Can Complain?

I haven't ridden the Star once since her return home, but the rain is drumming on the tin roof and with this idyllic sight who can complain. Cozy and warm, it's just me and  my editors...writing/reading/planning and wondering where the heck Randy is.

Sometimes I just enjoy the sound of the rain.

May One: Scenes From The Hood

The Lake (between raindrops)
Trilliums (Right on cue)
Dandies (Here and gone already)
Bird (On a stump)
 Update on Randy ...

Randy has disappeared as mysteriously as he appeared. I saw only what looked like the tip of a twisted, work booted foot peaking over the sides of the pick up truck as it rushed out the drive. Nothing remains but the scrape marks made as his heavy body was dragged across the dirty concrete. The Star is lonely! Where's Randy?
