A Living History Monument

Upper Canada Village (Morrisburg, Ontario) celebrated 50 years of operation yesterday

It's another of those, great places, close to home ...and a spot where my mother and I visited today - not for the first time and not by motorcycle (I just can't seem to convince her to start riding!)

It was a walk back in time - in more ways than one. My mother was a long time employee and artisan at the Village and I was a summer student - way back when.
