  1. Rincon looks like FUN, even with the plow!
I like the sumac photo, every time I see one I think I need to plant one, but then I promptly forget until I see another one. Thanks for the photos.
    Happy New Year Karen!!!

    1. I love that Rincon ... as long as somebody else is out riding it, in the cold, pushing snow - yeah, that's my son!
      Happy New Year Brad.

  2. Karen, that's the way to handle winter...make it a Throw Down.

Looks lovely, almost always a given with fresh snow, especially in areas where it can avoid looking dirty so quickly and your photos are showing those places.

  3. I think we have more snow on the ground now than we had all last year. Went snowshoeing yesterday and still ended up up to our knees (and deeper) in some places. Loving it!

    1. Canajun - I think you're right; we have much more snow already than all of last year. I tried cross country skiing today - was great until I ran out of snowmobile tracks, then I sank like a rock ... nothing like lifting 20 pounds of snow with every step! Happy shovelling ... and New Year too!

  4. Karen:

beautiful snow photos. I have never been in snow like that. We do get heavy snowfalls in the interior of our province but we don't go there in the Winter. We are city dwellers and our snow gets dirty & slushy fast as it turns to rain.

    Happy New Year to you

    1. This beautiful, diamond sparkling, white snow is so much better than slush ... Really Bob, if it's going to be winter ... bring on the snow.

  5. Such beautiful snow pictures.

Sure glad I am not shoveling it, but it is so pretty.

Happy New Year to you and your family Karen. It was a pleasure finally meeting and riding with you this year.

  6. Thanks Brandy - meeting you folks has been a highlight of 2012 for me ...as for shoveling - that's what the rincon and a son who loves snow are for! I only do the sidewalk!
    All the best in 2013!
