FRANCE IN AMERICA

It may take a village to publish a book but it takes one man’s dream to begin the journey. Gary France’s book, France In America; A 21,000 Mile USA Discovery On My Harley-Davidson was launched today. The 400 page book records his epic motorcycle journey and fulfillment of a lifelong dream for adventure. I am proud to say that through Gary’s generosity this stunning description of travelling across America on a Harley-Davidson is now being enjoyed by over 400 students in the elementary school where I work. Gary, we are grateful that you, “seized the moment” and that you recorded what you saw, heard, did and felt along the way for all of us to enjoy. You have inspired us, THANK YOU!

  1. His book is really making the rounds. Good thing he printed so many copies and we don't have to share.

I bet the students were in awe too.

    1. In Kindergarten We Share Everything ... but Gary's Book!
(Older)kids were thrilled with the book, actually an entire class volunteered to be the first to look at it; kinders were in awe that it was signed by the author - of course now I have to clarify why it's okay for the author to write in the book and sign his name and it's not okay for the rest of us ... way to go Gary!

    1. I was the first to check it out of the library. Gary is an amazing photographer ... and his narrative an easy read. Well worth it.

  4. I was very pleased to send a copy of the book to the school, but even more pleased to see the children reading it. I do hope that my book does go a little way to inspire one or two of them to want to do one of the best things in the world – travel. I loved the comment about having to explain about it being okay for an author to sign a book! I hope it is enjoyed for years to come. Best wishes, Gary.
