Touring on a VStar 650 Custom: “I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?" (unknown)

Out And About - Saturday August 2 (I said there was more to come)
Kingstonians love to celebrate and any excuse will do. Last week it was the Hog Rally this week the Princess Street Promenade. Young and old alike were walking, eating, dancing, laughing, singing, painting, selling their wares and just plain enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the middle of Princess Street, downtown Kingston - My home town.

Wow, so much going on. The video is a nice highlight reel. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love summer in my little city! Every weekend there's something going on ... I love winter in my little city too though, and fall is fabulous and spring is spectacular ... I am really lucky to live in such a wonderful area (flat and slow =D)
DeleteThat looks like so much fun with something (and even more) for everyone!
ReplyDeleteCoop, when the city closes off the main street it's fun, even if it just means you get to wander down the middle of the road for a day!
ReplyDeleteKaren:
ReplyDeletei think it's nice just to be able to relax, not wear ATGATT and strut about with summer attire, meandering every which way and following the scents of food.
Here in Vancouver they close off the streets in various areas of the city during the summer. We have Greek Days, Italian days and so on where you can sample foods from all over the world. Generally there is live music with lots of booths and street food
