I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas ...

Snow for Christmas ... Not likely ... Not here ... Not this year.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas but what I found was a lovely story being told through the fog with lights on Parliament Hill.

Plus a neighborhood with the Christmas spirit: "Taffy" Street in Orleans Ontario.

Merry Night Before the Night Before Christmas!

  1. No snow? Same here, and up to (plus!) 15°C expected. The light show is cool, I've seen something like this in Nancy, France before. Merry Christmas, Karen and a happy and healthy 2016.

    1. Sonja, the temperature hit above 15 here today ... just like a beautiful spring day. Merry Christmas.

  2. Christmas lights at night make up for (somewhat) the lack of snow. But the desire for a white Christmas is strong and fueled by popular culture from the movies and television.

Best wishes for the Merry Christmas!

    1. It is whitish indeed and like David says below - you don't have to shovel it!

  4. Having snow would be nice, but 15 degrees on December 24th is nicer. You don't have to shovel a sunny day.
Merry Christmas Karen, and all the best for 2016.
    Cheers

  7. You can come on out to Oregon for snow. While we don't have it on the valley floor, Crater Lake has receive over 10 feet in the last two weeks.

    1. I can understand why you might say that Richard, but the rain and dreariness can be a bit of a bore too. All the best to you and your family in the New Year.

  11. I love, love the pictures of our Parliament Buildings with all the lights. I had not seen that before. Thank you for that. Hope you had a nice Christmas with your family and a good rest, and now you can sit back with some tea and plan next year's trips with all your great pictures. I enjoy seeing the other side of the country! Take Care.
