There are many chapters in a person’s life, times that one
relates to emotionally, and times that have made a significant difference in
one’s life. For me, this spring means the end of two chapters. I am going to
retire from my career of 30 years, and I have passed my VStar on to a new
VStarLady.
Meet Tabitha, VStarLady 2.0. I wish her many safe and happy
kilometres on the Star.
And goodbye, Star! I will miss you, but we have over 77,000 km of memories to smile about.
Is that the end of the story? NOT BY A LONG SHOT. You will have to wait for the sequel; when one chapter ends, another is sure to begin.
Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you post again. It sounds like other doors are opening for you post-motorcycle. Having retired from riding last year, I can honestly say that I don't miss it because of plenty of other things to keep my interest. I'm sure it will be the same for you and every good wish 👍🌹.
Geoff
Thanks so much Geoff ... I have had mixed feelings but am much encouraged by your words.
DeleteCongratulations on your retirement! And it’s great to hear from you. I was just wondering how you were doing. We are heading up to AK right now to pick up my Ural as it has gotten very little use since we started traveling in an RV.
ReplyDeleteI hope you keep posting something, somewhere. The interest was less on the motorcycles and more on the person. Take care!
Thank you Richard. Great to hear from you. I have been following a few of your travels always watching to see that you are both safe and sound. Hope you can avoid the fires that seem to be never ending in the west on your trip to get the Ural. Hopefully I will do something that is 'post-worthy' in my next chapter.
