It’s all relative isn’t it?
Last October if you’d told me to go outside without a coat
when the temperature dropped to +4C I’d have said … “Hell no! Get me the heated
gear. Get me a Canadian made, goose down, made for the arctic vortex coat!” But
today +4 felt positively balmy. The coat was off, the hat was off, the gloves went
into the pockets and I said, “Bring on the motorcycle!” Temperature, like everything else ... is relative.
Reality hit hard as
I trudged up the snow lined, slush filled drive. Not yet,
not yet. Forecast for tomorrow - SNOW. A little time left to get in shape for riding season.
I didn't believe my ears when I heard on the news that TO and MTRL were going to get snow ! We are actually very warm here. With DST and the sunshine it feels like Spring is here
The weather gods are definitely toying with us here too ... the day after the coatless walk we were hit with a blizzard and -16C. Roads are snow covered once again.
It was really cooking on the south coast of UK yesterday, Sunday. A hot sunny afternoon. Hundreds of bikers were out on the A27 along the coast with the road cafes full. This morning, a bright (crisp) sunny start which promises to turn into some really good sunshine - yes! At last!
Yep, no heated anything, left the visor open for the ride home, liquid water on the road. Pretty nice day...

Yup, yesterday warm with blue sky as far as the eye could see today winter storm warning in effect ... might mess up part two of winter holiday.
DeleteIt is funny how we put those coats on early in the winter but they come off so soon in the spring as soon as the sun comes out.
