Touring on a VStar 650 Custom: “I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?" (unknown)

A Gal, A Bike And A Plan ...
A gal, I use that term somewhat loosely. A plan, ha, ha, ha - double over with laughter (I've really no idea where I'm going.) But I do have a bike, well that is as long as my trusty mechanic ends his Canada holiday in time to replace the front tire. That being said, Friday I leave.

Hmmm, the red line goes off the edge if the map. That's when the adventure really begins!
ReplyDeleteRichard ... you gotta know I won't be going that far off the map, just don't know where the part of the map I'm on will end up.
ReplyDeletehave a fabulous trip!!!
ReplyDeleteKaren:
ReplyDeleteHappy Canada Day. Safe travels and lots of smiles. " Wished you were here", whoops I think you're supposed to say that
Bring lots of maps and then you are sure to be on one of those pages

Riding the Wet Coast
Got lots of maps Bob .... have only looked at the first one.
DeleteVstar lady, if I could offer you my tip - when in doubt, turn left. I still get lost all the time, but the scenery is nicer - this works best on the east coast. Anyway, have a great trip, look forward to seeing your photos in the coming weeks.
ReplyDeleteEl D ... that's perfect, I will start by turning left at the end of my drive. (I'm sure I will be lost a few times.)
DeleteKaren you are very lucky.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see where you'll go and what you'll see.
Neither can I David!
Deleteoooooh, looking forward to seeing where this summer takes you. If you end up anywhere near us, (as in a one days ride) let me know.
ReplyDeleteWill do Trobairitz ... but if I turn left at the end of my drive I'll be heading the wrong direction.
DeleteKaren, wherever you're planning (or not planning) to go. I wish you plenty of miles and smiles. And as always, keep the shiny side up. Bon voyage!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sonja ...
DeleteThis will always be good.
ReplyDeleteAlways Coop!
DeleteAh adventure! I hope you end up somewhere blissful! Ride on!
ReplyDeleteBlissful ... that's a great goal!
DeleteCan you at least give us a hint? Left, or right? Up, or down?
ReplyDeleteOn El D's suggestion I will turn left at the end of my drive to start with (that would be east to start.)
DeleteWhat Coop said!
ReplyDeleteAlways X 2.
DeleteHave a safe journey! I will check on your herbs to make sure they get watered (and steal some while you are away - you always get my tomatoes when I am gone!)
