I missed the super moon at the horizon last night, but managed to catch it before it flew too high.
Today's ride was a short one, mostly super-slab as I head inland to skirt the big eastern cities.
Tonight I'm camped under cloudy skies, the weather network showing a system coming this way. A great chance to test out the weather proofing spray I treated the tent fly with last week.
By tomorrow it should be (could be) gone. I'm hoping to find a motorcycle accessory store in the area that I've heard about - a little shopping diversion may be in order. It will be another short ride after a wet night.

ReplyDeleteI missed the super moon too. Not easy to see in the middle of the city. At least you took a photo for me
I hope it doesn't get too wet for you

Riding the Wet Coast
So far Bob, I'm dry and cozy, but I've vowed if it rains, I'm not moving!
DeleteLet's hope the tent stayed dry.
ReplyDeleteAt least you saw the super moon rising. We didn't even know it was a super moon. Sure looked pretty the next morning though when still in the sky.
I was nice and dry inside, I just hate packing the wet tent fly though. A full moon, super or not, is always pretty isn't it?
DeleteGreat picture of the moon, Karen. If you are going to Maine... please say hi to Stephen King ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf I see Stephen King I'm running Sonja ...
DeleteThat's still a nice shot of the moon. Hmm, motorcycle accessory store in the area. Is this a quiz?
ReplyDeleteYes it is Richard ... do not check the answer sheet until you've made your guess!
