Buddy, how could you treat me like this?

I've always said, "All a gal really needs is a good mechanic," but I sure am glad he's not my bike mechanic. This poor baby has been sitting in the yard for almost as long as I can remember and today it looked even sadder than before. He says he should take up riding again ... but looks like the bike might need a bit of work before that happens. Glad he looks after my four wheels better than his two wheels. Yikes!!!

  1. Poor little bike - it needs an intervention!!! someone needs to adopt this poor baby. My scooter is sitting out under our balcony and is basically covered from the elements, but I still cover her with a motorcycle cover and I feel bad about booting her out of the garage for her bigger sister Lucy the 450. Soon though I think the little scoot will have its warm place back in the garage because my 450 is in the adoption process and I am waiting to hear by the weekend if the gal who is interested has the cash together.

But this poor bike in your picture is in a sad state of affairs.

    1. I can hear little scoot shivering as I type...but the bike in my mechanic's yard, sadly I think it's heart has stopped, possibly, most likely, beyond hope.

  3. Very sad photo. Then again, it is an opportunity for someone who has the time and the passion to fix up old bikes.

    1. I'm thinking this little 750 is beyond passion and has moved into the "obsessive" realm (from a fixer upper's point of view.)
