In Like A Lion

So ... it seems to be a bit windy here today!
(strong winds of 60 km/h with gusts up to 90 km/h)
March has come in like a lion and it hasn't stopped roaring
for three days. Hopefully this wind will blow away the final bits of winter as easily
as it has blown the tree branches across the roads.

  1. The wind really makes it look cold in that photo. March is generally one of my favorite months. Clear, sunny and great x-country skiing. I am looking forward to riding season though.

    1. It was actually above freezing, the snow from March's roar "in" makes it look cold but it was breezy!

  2. I agree, hopefully these storms will be the last and push winter away :-)

    1. Thanks ... I was out trying to take a photo of something but gave up 'cause I couldn't see through the hair so turned it on myself for fun. Here's hoping winter gets blown away for sure!

  3. Cool picture. March came in like a lion cub here, so I can only guess what the rest of the month will be like. Longing for the warmth of summer.

  4. Cool picture. Hope the wind finally dies down.

Strong winds have to be some of the worst kind of weather.

  5. The wind has finally died and the house has stopped shivering - but now it's snowing again!

  6. Arrived home from Myrtle Beach to -20! Wasn't sure it was March at all until I saw that tomorrow it's supposed to be +12. Now that's more like it.

    1. Welcome back. Unpredictable - that's March for sure. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's high temps... Heading off to NYC this weekend so I'm hoping for spring to spring!

  7. VS Lady:

I just love this photo. Unfortunately I am unable to duplicate it as I am currently folicle challenged. We also had brisk winds but we are hoping that it blows Winter away
