New York City – Day 3

Still walking, still eating … still drinking in the sights and sounds and smells of New York City.
The Court House
 That's amore
(Lovers secure a lock to the Brooklyn Bridge as a symbol of their amore then throw the key into the water below ...)
Empire State from under the Brooklyn Bridge - Brooklyn side
A Brooklyn Coffee Break
 Back to Gremaldi's for Pizza

Manhattan (and the Brooklyn Bridge) from the Manhattan Bridge
More of Manhattan from the Manhattan Bridge

So ... I bought new shoes!

Two bridges, twenty more kilometers (on foot) and another pair of socks bites the dust. Just another day in the life of a New York Tourist.

  2. For some reason, in all my US travels, New York is the one major city I have never been to but your photos are pushing it closer to the top of the bucket list. Thanks for sharing.

    1. It is quite a city ... I'm glad I've taken time to explore some of the less travelled neighborhoods.

  3. So much fun. You sure are getting your exercise, but that is a good thing.

That pizza looks so good, now I'm hungry.

  4. Beautiful photos! I notice that some of the locks are combination locks i.e. no keys to throw into the river. Those are from those who aren't quite sure?

I hear that Gremaldi's is the place to go with their 900°F pizza oven...

    1. Richard, there were many proclamations of love on the bridge...I guess they went with the lock at hand.
Gremaldi's - it was my second time and not disappointed.
