This one's for Princess Scooterpie. I promised; since she showed us her magnolias I'd show mine.
All kidding aside ... I think I did notice some slight swelling of the furry little buds despite the mounds of snow behind, beside and all around them.

They're looking cozy in their fur coats for now but I think soon ... I hope!
DeleteThey look like they want to try and bloom.
ReplyDeleteI'd post a picture of our star magnolia, but it has already bloomed and the white/pink blooms are kind of brown and spent.
Are you gloating Trobairitz =)
DeleteMom's got tulips on the south side of the house......southern exposure with 'feet' of snow nearby.
ReplyDeleteNothing at all fuzzy, or green in our neck of the woods.
Coop, I'm worried about these fuzzy little babes ... there's a nasty porch-roof ice slide imminent that may take them out in their prime.
DeleteSome brave little buds. But hey that have that furry coat protecting them from the cold.
ReplyDeleteSeems like they just don't want to let go of their fur coats (can't say as I blame them...)
DeleteAhh the joys of Spring! Pretty photo!
ReplyDeleteKT Did ... spring, oh spring. I keep holding my breath, another (hopefully last) massive snow dump overnight last night.
