The lake looked lonely today in the mist ... I could see my breath.
A late maple, still hanging on to its glory, was a spot of sunshine as the raindrops started to fall.
Just a few scenes from the hood ... my favorite hood, my neighborhood.
The Star is still in the shed waiting for the ride to her winter hibernation cave. Maybe this week!
Your hood is looking pretty good this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photos.
It was a rather dreary day, but the colours manage to shine through.
DeleteLove your hood... can I come visit?
ReplyDeleteAny time Sonja ... it's different than your mountain home, but beautiful in its own way.
ReplyDeleteCalling it a season? Possibly a second wind just maybe??
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the cool and wet needs its time as well, the end of riding but wonderful in a different way.
I am Coop. If I had a garage and an iota of mechanical knowledge I might hang on until the last minute but the thought of having to truck it because of snow ... well ...
DeleteFinally getting some sun this week so you should be able to ride your bike up to storage. I might try to get one last ride in on Saturday. Cheers
ReplyDeleteMy target day is Monday. (Ride to work ... ride to the shop and get a ride home.) Not much of a finale but at least it won't be in the snow on the back of a truck!)
DeleteNice framing on the last shot....
ReplyDeleteThanks ... it's a scene I look at almost every day and I still think it beautiful.
