This was the view from the other side. Why do I love Prince Edward Island ... the sand, the beaches, the people and they have no deer, no moose and no bears. Obviously the wild life can't take a ferry, because they can't read the schedules and if they tried to cross the bridge; the bridge authorities would stop them, knowing full well they wouldn't have the fare. Good thing they don't stop motorcyclists.
Touring on a VStar 650 Custom: “I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?" (unknown)

A View From The Other Side
I awoke, once again, to the patter of raindrops on my tent. It finally stopped around 7 and I rolled, rather I crawled, from my snug warm den to look at the sky. Really, I just couldn't wait any longer to make the hike to the bathroom. I dawdled. I considered staying in Fredericton one more day - there was a hiking trail running along the river and the sign said it was only 5.9 km to the city. That would be a nice hike and I would have loved it. Then it occurred to me that f I forged on ahead, I'd have one extra day that I could use to relax; and isn't that what a vacation is for. So I stuffed a wet tent into its bag again and headed east.

That’s a nice view to have. Is the rain putting much of a damper on your trip?
ReplyDeleteUp until today, it has only rained night ... today's weather is serving only to whet my appetite for a ride in the sun! It's a bit soggy here today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bridge picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brandy, it's the first time, believe it or not, that I've stopped on the PEI side to look back at the bridge. Guess I've always been in too much of a hurry to get here.
