It's Not The Cold ...

It's not the cold ... it's the damp. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that quote, but tonight it's true. The mercury (do they use mercury anymore?) is hovering around zero. Two months ago I'd have said it was positively balmy, tonight though, it's cold. But it's worth it to have Nature's street cleaner remove the winter's sand from the roads. And I'm just fine here beside the fire. There's nothing that takes the chill out of a damp April night like a cozy fire.

Very soon I will be complaining that it's not the heat, it's the humidity!

Does This Mean Winter Is Over?

The last day of March and another gathering of the Kingson area old timers motorcycle group. The weather co-operated enough for two members to ride to the event. Does this mean winter is over? Maybe, except for the snow predicted for tomorrow!
