Touring on a VStar 650 Custom: “I haven't a clue as to how my story will end. But that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?" (unknown)

Forgive My City Pride ....
Just a little glimpse of Kingston in Autumn (forgive my city pride.) From the shops on Brock, Confederation Basin, Market Square, City Hall and this weekend Chili Fest ... it's a beautiful place to be.. What a perfect fall day in downtown Kingston!
The fall is just beginning here in beautiful downtown Kingston. The market is a regular, twice a week event at the square during the spring, summer and fall. In the winter the square turns into an outdoor ice pad with free skating and lots of special events. All summer long, on Thursdays movies are shown using the back of city hall as a giant movie screen. This Saturday was Chilifest one of the many special weekend festivals that happen every year in Kingston.
Beautiful arrangements downtown. Great atmosphere. I love the arch in the water too. We considered going west on our trip instead of east from New Hampshire. Kingston was in my crosshairs. Maybe next year we can see your fair city.
At least the sun shone yesterday because today it hasn't shown its face. I love the market - any market in any city, they are always so colourful and so photogenic.
Karen:

Bob, the Star saw the sun, but didn't get invited downtown (boo hoo). Next weekend come hell or high water!
ReplyDeleteIt appears that Fall is just starting. Kingston looks like a beautiful town. Is this a street fair or festival or normal activity?
