He walked into our lives wearing pink crocks ... his
enthusiasm for life and his generosity affecting us all, forever. Bob’s friendship
brightened our lives more than the colour of his shoes. Yes, David, let’s commemorate
Bob … let’s play it forward in any way we can – every day like Bob!
It is such a sad day when we say goodbye to a friend. He touched so many people, including mine. He will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad. He was a wonderful guy and always quick with a blog comment, suggestions to fix things, his generosity and wisdom. I will miss him greatly.
ReplyDeleteA very nice and heartfelt posting.....
ReplyDeleteThanks Dom. A bit of my blogging oomph has left me since Bob has passed it seems.
DeleteKaren, I read this and tears well up yet again.
ReplyDeleteIt's inconceivable.
We need to PDF these tributes and print them in a book for Yvonne, Tammy and Ryan. It's likely they won't be seeing this amazing outpouring of grief and affection.
David, that would be lovely - I can help with that if you'd like.
DeleteA beautiful post Karen. I don't know if he realized just how much he was loved by his moto blogging family.
ReplyDeleteHe will be missed.
Brandy, I don't think he really knew.
DeleteHe was so happy about riding with you, Karen, and meeting the other East coast bloggers. That was Bob, building a family he never had.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that he built this family of friends Sonja.
DeleteWow..I just read this today. He seemed like such a wonderful character. Can I ask what happened?
ReplyDeleteThoughts to his family and many friends.
He died suddenly of a heart attach while on vacation with his wife Yvonne.
DeleteI love your tribute post. You chose the images well. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kathy ... it's hard to say good bye, isn't it?
