I arrived before the rain, my first off road experience of the trip; the road leading to the campground, torn to shreds, loosely gravelled and well rutted. Thankyou to the trucker who ran block off the highway or I'd still be sitting at the flashing red light. Other than that an uneventful day.
New gadget review .... thermorest micro air pump.
As advertised, it did the job, only requiring a few final huffs and puffs from me to finish it off.
Micro size, macro job. Well worth it!
That mattress looks comfy ;)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading about your adventure. Hope the weather stays good for you.
It is a comfy mat ... even better now the pump doesn't take up half the storage room on the bike and I have space for a pillow.
DeleteEnjoy the rest of your journey...I am praying to the rain gods to hold off any more bad weather until you get home!
ReplyDeleteI really haven't had bad weather yet, just rain last night and I was already set up so all is good so far.
DeleteGood thing you have a low center of gravity on the cruiser, I am sure it handled the loose road just fine.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's why I love her ... however she's not a gravel loving beast especially loaded up for a few weeks camping
DeleteNasty weather, eh? I hope it dries up quickly.
ReplyDeleteAll is well, it only rained in the night, the predicted rain for today turned, instead, to sunshine. Tent was a bit wet though.
