I'm getting used to things ... new boots, just one of them.
Like Ed, I'm trying to downsize my electronics. After reading his trials and tribulations I thought I'd try getting used to blogging on an iPad as well as my new boots, before I hit the road. Here I sit, blogging on a mini tablet, wearing new riding boots - in the living room. So far, so good but if you suddenly start reading a recipe for cucumber salad ... well, I'm not taking any responsibility for that.I'm a bit behind on what's happening out in the blogosphere but I think the next couple of weeks will give me time to catch up. See you on the road.
Cool! Cucumber salad sounds great…
ReplyDeleteWhere to this year?
Am heading east, again. I love the ocean.
DeleteGood stuff, Karen. I wonder where the road will take you this summer... I am still not used to working an iPad, and stuck with my traditional Airbook, I am old school that way...
ReplyDeleteSonja, I have to say, a laptop is easier and more direct for blogging for sure - but I think I will give it a try.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to following along with your travels. Nice looking boots too and you can't go wrong with cucumber salad. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Trobairitz ... New boots, feel strange ;-)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading about your travels. I hope you have better luck than me using an iPad, I could never figure out how to upload photos to the blog from it. And great to have you back, blogging!
ReplyDeleteThanks El D ... so far, day one, the iPad is working. Syncs photos from the phone easily, takes a couple of extra steps to upload from the camera.
DeleteThe boots look good, kind of like the ones I had for years ... wore them everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWell, the sales clerk at Ottawa Goodtimes Centre told me they'd be th best boots I've ever worn, once they are broken in, she said. So far, so good though.
DeleteI remember getting new boots. I think it was about 2003. :)
ReplyDeleteMine weren't that old, but close. It was time.
